Easy setup, helpful features

I set up CartStack for our e-commerce site last month, focusing on the Multi-Step Recovery Campaigns. The initial setup was straightforward, took me about an hour to get the basic Shopify App running. I liked the real-time data capture; it helped fine-tune the timing of our emails. We also tried the Exit Intent Popups which seemed to capture a few more leads than expected. Customer support was responsive when I had a question about customizing one of the email templates. Overall, it's been a good experience, though I'm still monitoring the full revenue attribution tracking.

Reliable for recovery campaigns

This is my third year using CartStack for recovery campaigns. Started with just abandoned carts, then added browse abandonment emails last year. They're consistent. Integrations are always smooth, whether it was for WooCommerce or BigCommerce. Support is quick if I ever have a question. It just works as expected every time.

I'm currently using Mailchimp for my email stuff, but CartStack's abandoned cart features look better. Is it worth switching, or should I just stick with what I know?

N Neil Carter 2 months ago
CartStack is way more focused on recovery. Mailchimp can do some of it, but CS is built for it. If abandoned carts are a big problem for you, it's probably worth looking into. The customization options for the recovery emails are much better.

I moved from Constant Contact and it was a huge upgrade for cart recovery specifically. Mailchimp is more general email marketing, CS is specialized.

Does CartStack charge based on how many emails you send out, or is it more of a flat fee thing based on site traffic?

N Nick 2 months ago
It's not per email, which is nice. It's more about your site's traffic or the number of tracked visitors, I think. Check their pricing tiers, they explain it there.

Yeah, it's not like some email marketing platforms where every send costs you. It's based on visitor volume, which I prefer.

Hey, thinking about trying CartStack for my Shopify store. Is it a pain to set up, or pretty straightforward?

M Mike Doyle 2 months ago
It's super easy, actually. The Shopify app handles most of it, I had my first campaign running in like, an hour.

Yeah, I use it with WooCommerce and it was pretty much plug and play. They have a plugin for most major platforms so it's not a big dev project.

Are there any current promo codes floating around for CartStack? Trying to sign up and save a few bucks.

D Derek F. 3 months ago
Usually, they just do the 14-day free trial. I haven't seen many actual promo codes; they seem to be pretty rare.

Your best bet for a discount is usually paying annually, that's where I saved some. Promo codes are not really their thing from what I've seen.

Has anyone actually gotten the 30-day money-back guarantee to work if they weren't happy? Just wondering if it's a hassle.

D Derek V. 3 months ago
I didn't use it myself, but I've seen a few people mention it was fine. As long as you cancel within the 30 days, you should be good.

Yeah, returns were easy, did it last month. No drama at all.
